Precision Environmental and ProCut Receive Distinguished Safety Awards

Precision Environmental and ProCut have both been named as recent recipients of the 2017 Safety Council Award, given by the Construction Employers Association to companies that have demonstrated excellence in one of several safety categories. Awards for both companies focus on lost time incident rates over a predetermined time frame. Specifically, Precision Environmental won their award for Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Division of Safety and Hygiene Special Award, for the time-period of October 2015 through June of 2017 with a minimum of 500,000 hours and at least six months without an injury resulting in a day or more away from work.
Precision Environmental Ranked 4th among Asbestos Abatement Firms in the United States

Precision Environmental was recently ranked 4th among Asbestos Abatement firms throughout the United States by ENR Magazine, in their annual “Top 600 Specialty Contractors” edition. This ranking marks an impressive 21st consecutive year that Precision has been named in the Top 10 of all Asbestos Abatement firms nationwide by the noted trade publication. The rankings are routinely released each year in the Fourth Quarter, and evaluate the very best heavy-duty construction companies by total revenues. Precision has been routinely called upon to perform its high-quality, specialty services for more than a dozen multi-million-dollar projects in the last several years.
Precision Commissioned to Create a “Work of Art” for Saint Louis Railway Museum

Precision Environmental was called upon in January 2016 to participate in the restoration of Locomotive #6944 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Specifically, Precision helped to safely and effectively remove lead paint from the engine and then helped to perform an intricate sand-blasting of the entire unit…..inch by inch. The Locomotive, located at the Norfolk Southern Juniata yard, became fully contained in an environmentally friendly encapsulation area and then work began. A specialized blasting machine equipped with remote control was utilized to maximize precision and safety. The Norfolk Southern Corporation commissioned the restoration of Locomotive #6944 so that it can return on a hitch back to the historic Saint Louis Railway Museum for the greater community to enjoy. Precision thanks Norfolk Southern for the opportunity to perform its services on this restoration project.
