Precision Environmental Company participated in the initial abatement phase of the former Cahokia Station Power Plant. Our scope was performed in anticipation of future demolition work of three buildings (power house, turbine building, and electrical building).
Abatement work included the removal and proper disposal of asbestos & pcb containing building materials. Crews established several work areas to address the abatement of asbestos-containing transite panels (60,000 sf), pipe insulation (500 linear feet (lf)), and pcb caulkings (7,000 lf).
